Can some one explain to me why oh why??
Just bought a canon 5100 printer - only print's test page, called canon and they said I have to change port setting from lpt1 to a epp port - re bios and so on?? I have never heard of this before!!
The computer P2 350 win 98 system and never had any problems printing with HP
Go into your bios when you restart your machine (del key on most configs)and look for you Parallel Port Mode option (on mine its in Integrated Peripherals) and change it to EPP.. EPP stands for Enhanced Parallel Port.
