That link is fast but it wasn't supposed to be full public till Sat 1pm..just FYI.

Also those of you on Nvidia cards make sure you use the 169.01 drivers released yesterday! They really do have a big performance increase all around!

Also just to let anyone know.. AA on at any level isn't doing your performance in this demo any good.. you really can't notice the difference and with it on be prepared to notice a decrease in FPS however even playing the game at 30FPS it runs smooth as hell!
Also uses half the memory BF2 does!

So far so good Crytek!!

It was supposed to be public officially today, as it was. It wasn't leaked or anything.. but the site with the countdown isn't the official crysis website anyway..

EA released the link above.. so that's official..

btw here's a 30 second clip I made of in-game while messing around with the suit the guy wears.. going cloak, speeding up, super strength..

Pretty cool so far. PLayable on my listed machine @ 1024x768 medium settings. Cant use any overclocking features with riva tuner due to beta drivers but Ill get around it soon. Not sure how the single player aspect will translate to a mp game of much fun. Looks promising though.

Due to the steady increasing rush on new information about the upcoming Crysis Singleplayer Demo we would like to give out a few additional details that might be interesting for you. 

CRYSIS SINGLEPLAYER DEMO
The demo is going to be released officially on Friday, October 26th at 1:00PM (GMT+1). It will be exclusively available for those who pre-ordered Crysis for about 24hours via the EA downloader. On Saturday, October 27th at 1:00PM the demo will be put online for download an all public sites, so keep tracking your favourite fan site.

P4 2.3ghz, 1 gig ram, Nvidia 7800GS OC. It ran like poo. Updated to the newest Nividia drivers, all settings are at medium, texture quality at high, and it runs great! Looks great too! I have a bad habbit of shooting down all the trees, heh.

Going to try some more OC'ing since the card came OC'ed from BFG.

Can't give you and FPS but I struggled when I got the the jamming station near the water.....I had everything set on high with 8x aa, though....not sure if AA even came into play as it didn't in the MP beta....I'm running older drivers also....gotta update them when I get home.

E6600, 8800GTS, 4 gb ram

With my system, E6600@3.2, 4GB RAM, 2900XT, I'm getting some pretty bad performance. I'm updating my drivers and installing a few Windows updates - Hopefully that'll help.

What resolution were you running at?

there almost isn't a need for dx10 the trees and objects are fully destructable and it seems the day and night change worked fine in dx9

High looks the same on every computer.. it will just feel different while in game depending on the hardware you're running..

those are still shots.. sorry to burst your bubble..

Everything on high will look EXACTLY the same as everything on high on 2 computers, 10 computers.. only difference will be the screen resolution

but if it makes you feel better to say your graphics look better than mine while we both have the same settings, so be it..

right....the game is unplayable unless you're running dual GTX's or whatever you got ...jeezus, dude give it a rest...they look fine to me and honestly i don't think any one cares how yours look but you.

well your kinda wrong here.. since the drivers are still lacking alot of SLI support that being said I've read nothing but low FPS and graphic results with people trying to run dual 8800GTX's SLI setups with this demo. And yes they do look fine for him..but I'm not only comparing those to mine but tons of others online at this point.

But its a mute subject since to each his own and how they are viewed 1st person behind your own screen.

Posted screen shots on the other hand are fair game.

I'll post a few later when I get a chance to get in game again and let you compare
