Folding again

Post by MadDoctor »

Finally got the dumb computer fixed. Those CRAYs are hard to configure when that much wire goes up in flames.

Folding numbers should start to improve. :)

I've noticed that once a WU is done, it doesn't send the info out and collect the new WU unless I shut Folding down and restart it. I'm running 5.03 with Sygate. I have Sygate configured to let the service in and out.

Should I get new tires for the car or wait until I see the steel belts showing through?

I think my NIC was being powered down at night by XP. When it did, the IP was lost. I'm guessing and have set the NIC not to power down. We'll see tomorrow if the WU is sent or not.

About those tires. They have nothing to do with this thread MD. Knock it off or get back to the tweaking board.

Bite me MD. Folding and tires are closely related. No need not to mix the two into this thread. What are you?!?!?!?! The "thread cop"????????

I'm a little confused. I do remember blowing by some guy and a sheep the other day though.

Hey Doc,
Did you ever get your "problem" resolved? (I am not talking about that re-occurring rash...) :D :rotfl:

Hi Ken! Nice to see you back on the boards (and not in my bed as usual).

I did get the problem fixed. It was my firewall.

I had the wrong squares checked. Once I un-checked them (DNS/DCHP) , all was good.

Silly me.... :wth:

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. That doesn't sound right. Maybe it was unplugging the RJ-45 from the NIC that was the problem.

;)
