Flying games

Post by loop2kil »

recommend something 2d or 3d where i can fly around and blow things up.

Flight sim X is fun but i really need to blow something up and/or kill something :)

I remember an old sit down arcade game called Mach 3...that was fun..something like that.

too slow of a series for me...waaaay too much meandering around for nothing....I'm old and must have constant action to keep my attention.

really just want a flying only game with big explosions and such...make pretty pictures on the screen :)

doesn't necessarily have to be...Sims are more about the flying aspect...i want it to be more about making objects go boom boom.

Battlefield 1942 with the Desert Combat mod....
Play on full public servers...I play on a modded server every day that's usually packed with 30-56 players...the name is 0-[~T-m-P~] No RuleZ

It's a modded server with some speed and power mods. Humvees...using your alt fire button (commonly mouse2)...have speed boosts. As do some of the smaller choppers. Also the Humvees have the gatling gun on the roof. The B17 is in El Alamein..with extra speed. For starting up a game..and getting right into heavy fast action...it's my vote based on all the ones I've played (and that's pretty much most of what's out there)

POE mod from BF Vietnam, was one of the better mods for flying around and blowing things up.

Otherwise star wars tie fighter? :D

Or Falcon 4.0 if you're in for a thrashing, both in and out of the game. :D

Falcon 4.0 or whatever the new version is called. I've wasted plenty of time on that one.
