comp case question

Post by anths »

I will be allocating my PIII 733 into a new computer that I will build (A friend and I actually, hes the genious :) ) and the only thing I have left to pick out is the case. I want a normal tower case that is not to expensive, but has enough cooling that I can safely overclock the PIII. I will do all of the other cooling (heatsinks, misc fans, etc.) myself, but I need a case with a good amount of cooling to start off with. Any suggestions and/or retailers?
Peace,
Anthony

all I can say is get one with atleast a 300 watt power supply, otherwise any basic case will work, get mid size or bigger.brands ?
I just get generic cases with 300 watt ps for $50 to $65 when I build one.

I have 300 watt power supply on my list of things to get. So any generic case will do? I was thinking of a case with say, 2 80mm induction fans and 2 exhaust fans or is that overboard?

no thats not overboard, that sound pretty cool,I get the generic cases and then I custom install some fans in it,according to that particular setup, but thats just cuz I like to play with my toys.

I like to play with my toys as well.. but this time I told my parents I would leave them alone. You have no idea how many computers and monitors I have screwed up!
So a case like that is pretty good then? I thought that would be a good amount of cooling. I will have to find a case that comes with those fans then.
Peace,
Anthony
