Not that they're worried or anything. But the White House evidently leaves little to chance when it comes to protests within eyesight of the president. As in, it doesn't want any.
A White House manual that came to light recently gives presidential advance staffers extensive instructions in the art of "deterring potential protestors" from President Bush's public appearances around the country.

Well sure I don't dispute that, but that's not the issue. This White House treats everyone who disagrees with them as lepers. Disagreeing with someone doesn't make them an enemy. You and I disagree on this, but I have no plans to go to Philip and tell him to remove you from the forums.Shinobi wrote:There is some crazy people out there nowadays.. eh?![]()
The Bush Administration does things bass ackwards.
LOL.. no I don't think "every" person that that disagrees with the President, should be thought as a enemy of the country.Roody wrote:Well sure I don't dispute that, but that's not the issue. As a Independent Moderate, I totally agree that if you don't like what the President is doing, voice your opinion.
But there are a lot of protesters that start to talk, not just about there opinions, but start to "cut down" the entire country as a whole.. and also, as we have seen some go to the extreme, as to get hostile intentions. http://www.boston.com/news/nation/artic ... cials_say/
The first para is evident to that, in the NYPD Report that came out a few weeks ago: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20278590/

They can always sprinkle in some agitators like the Quebec police did for the North American Union summit.
