Do you plan on replacing the wireless of your DLink, with the access point?
Or add it to your DLink, in effect..having 2x APs broadcasting?
Or are you trying to create a wireless bridge?

I plan to increase my wireless signal. Right now i have the netgear wgr614version1 connected to dlink and signals have improved greatly...but i want the dlink router+modem, which gets the sync upstairs and tehn wireless connected is a bridge/AP of the Netgear wgr 614....?

How do i set the netgear wgr614?

I'm also wondering this, as the netgear router doesn't have a drop down menu to put the router into ad hoc or infrastructure mode.
