I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

Hey - lets ease up on the HR people! I'm the Director of HR where I work :) The firm is about 115 people, and it's me and 1 other woman who just does payroll. It's not easy making everyone happy! But I try to be as pleasant as possible!

People love me :D .... or at least they pretend to

But congrats! A promotion sounds good!

Why would you stay in an HR position if you have no patience for those who do not understand?

I like certain aspects of HR. There are certain aspects that are not appealing to me, but in any case, I'm finishing up my master's degree next year and I'm planning on switching from HR to Consulting. :)
