question about an open source

Is the open soucrce software at this site legitimate?

I want to use this instead of purchasing microsoft project sofware. Is there anything I should be concerned about?

Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.

It has some following and mods at sourceforge.net

So....looks fairly legit has some development community.
