win me programs button all goofy looking?

That start programs button. Mine has started to look all weird. It may look like a piece of a GUI or game screen that was on earlier, or it might just be some kind of jumble of pixels. Is this a video driver problem maybe? Thank you for your time.

It could be a driver problem. Did you try and reinstall the latest drivers for your Video Card?

I had that problem with an ATI video card that I put in a friends computer. The updated drivers didnt help. The memory on the video card was bad. ALL buttons would start looking funny the longer I was on. But hopefully this is not the case with yours. Try reinstalling the drivers. What brand of card is it??
