I'm a new user to outlook 2000, I'm just wondering if I have to have it running all the time in order to receive new mail.
Is there a way to hide it?
Is there an easier way to receive email?

You could also use Outlook Express to receive your email. That's what I use. Outlook 2000 is awesome, but if you're just gonna use it for email, you might as well use Outlook Express.

Why not use Outlook? Maybe you'll use all those features some day and you wont have to import/export. I like Outlook's interface better too though. Anyway you can use this application to hide it: Watchcat ( http://tepmuhyc.webprovider.com/download/wcatsi.zip ) for windows. You can also use Trayit (i like watchcat better). Tray it is availabke here: http://www.teamcti.com/trayit/TrayIt.zip

Hope this helps!

look for a program called E-prompter
It works for ANY email and you don't have to have your email open.
It allows you to check and actually read the mail
You know what? YOU SUCK!
