Hub to Router issue

Post by Otacon132 »

I am trying to connect my hub to the router, and i am not able to get an internet connection on the router.

Cable modem to hub, then from the hub i have a port going to my PC, and a port going to the router's wan port....

I have tried uplink/normal and i am not able to get the router to go online, any suggestions?

Most isp's for home use only give out one IP address. One connection at a time.

Your broadband router is designed to share this connection.

Call your isp and ask.

You would put your PC into one of your routers LAN ports.
Modem==>Router==>All your PCs/networked devices.
