Not sure if anyone will be interested, but I thought I would throw this out here anyway. Lets have a little stock market challenge. Starting now through September 4, 2007.
Winner gets nothing but a pat on the back, unless someone wants to donate some junk (err prizes) You can join anytime you want (it's free), so it is never too late to start, but you will be at a bigger disadvantage the later you start (obviously)
$30,000 to invest - invest wisely ... or not so wisely

I can change some rules if we decide it is necessary... if we want it to run longer, how much we start with, etc. I kept the starting amount down a bit so you didn't start with like 100,000 or 500,000 etc and buy it all in google lol ... I did allow for private portfolios though incase no one wants to give their secrets away

Yeah, well I have no real money to invest... so I must worry about how my fake investments will turn out Especially in a 3 month time frame to keep things interesting. I predict some good days... and probably some very very bad ones with my selections so far...
On a side note, hopefully in a few years I will have a little chunk of change to throw into the market and maybe make something out of it... but until then I must tend to my fake shares.

Yeah, I got nailed pretty good and was at work all day so I couldn't do much about it. I saw it going down before I went to work and knew it was going to be down all day... Maybe a little rebound tomorrow though

My stock split today, but it's not showing the adjusted value...instead, it's showing that I've lost half my value
