See the little pink spots on the nose? Watch out for sunburn there. Collies/sheps are prone to this, my collie Katy had her issues with it. I tried putting sunblock on there, but you know how a dog is with stuff on thier nose. She'd lick it off in no time. Ended up that making sure she could chill inside the house fixed the problem.

LOL actually YES! we found a Motel in Tahoe that allows pets! she might even be on the boat and in the pics,we are getting married by the captain of a 55ft catamaran private charter on the nevada side of the water on lake tahoe on June 23rd.we hired a photgrapher so we did'nt have to worry about that,we will be in sandals and I will be in shorts and its small, like 15 people, and then yes,we will spend a few days alone in Tahoe afterwards,we are flying my dad up from LA and her mom and son and fiance will be there,a few of her friends and her brother and a long time friend of mine and his girlfriend ,and now a new addition to our little family.

That dog is awesome.

Also seems to be a symbol of the rebirth of your new life. Take care of yourself and new family and there will be plenty of good times for many years to come.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
(Jones/Page/Plant)

Ah caught you smiling at me, That's the way it should be,
Like a leaf is to a tree, so fine.

Ah all the good times we had, I sang love songs so glad
Always smiling, never sad, so fine.

*As we walk down the country lanes, I'll be singing a song,
Hear me calling your name.
Hear the wind within the trees, Telling Mother Nature 'bout you and me.

Well if the sun shines so bright, Or on our way it's darkest night
The road we choose is always right, so fine.

Ah can your love be so strong When so many loves go wrong
Will our love go on and on...

* Chorus

My, my la de la come on now it ain't too far,
Tell your friends all around the world,
Ain't no companion like a blue eyed merle
.

Come on now well let me tell you,
What you're missing, missing, 'round them brick walls.

So of one thing I am sure, It's a friendship so pure,
Angels singing all around my door, so fine.
Yeah, ain't but one thing to do Spend my natural life with you,
You're the finest dog I knew, so fine.

When you're old and your eyes are dim, There ain't no old Shep gonna happen again,
We'll still go walking down country lanes, I'll sing the same old songs,
Hear me call your name.

Awesome looking pup there Dan and she has great coloring. I have a black and white Aussie and he's a fantastic 4 legged friend. A very loyal dog that likes to project their master(s) to no end. Be warned though, that they like to play incessantly and will drive you crazy sometimes trying to get you to play with them. They have an undying energy...mine can go on a 3 mile run with me and not even pant when we get finished.

If you are keeping her inside, make sure to get a crate as they stay 'pup minded' for about a year and a half and the crate makes training them even easier. Also, keep a variety of toys available or your furniture and walls will become a favorite outlet for unused energy.

I'm sure you've already read about most of this already, just thought i would reiterate it just in case.

excellent choice in dog!

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

Hi Dan, For Xmas we got a new pup, a black minature poodle, I was at a stage in my life where I thought a dog would be a problem, was I wrong..

I had many dogs before, but it has been several years ..I forgot the joy and pleasure a dog can give you!...By the way congratulations on your upcoming marriage in June..

Here's some odd trivia for ya. The Zephyr was a wooden rollercoaster here in New Orleans, which the top part is now in a kids playground. The New Orleans Zephyrs is also the name of our baseball team.
