im using alcatel thompson 511e home plus adsl modem. The name of my ISP is TMnet Streamyx.

General Settings tab:

Modify All Network Adapters - check
network adapter selection - your NIC
MTU 1480

Nope. Run my settings again and make sure TCP Window is set to 31680. Your present TCP Window is set to 33120, and not 31680.

Yes, your settings are correct for 512 kbps line. If you upgrade your speed package with StreamyX to 1024 kbps, use the same settings but change TCP Window to 63360 (= 31680 x 2).

He can use the same settings but may have to change MTU and TCP Window values according to his actual MTU as shown by TCP Analyzer.

MTU can be different in PPPoE connections. Usual values are 1492 or 1480. But sometimes, routers can limit MTU to some other values like 1472, 1458 or 1454.

So MTU should be set to what the TCP Analyzer shows.

TCP Window should be set to MSS x 22 for 512 kbps line when we are in South East Asia.

MSS = MTU - 40.

I still have a problem in streaming online video and have problem in opening the web page. My download speed is ok .
