Moving shortcuts?

Post by Smackdab »

I have a picture on my desk top that I want to be able to see so I move all my shortcuts to the sides of the picture and right click and line them up. But when I restart my computer they have all moved back to thier default location. Does anyone know how to make them stay in place?

I was also wondering, from the start menu I dragged the Windows Exploer onto the desk top to make a shortcut. But now it's not on the start menu anymore? Does anyone know how to get that back too?

As for moving your icons on desktop, move them, then right click on a empty place on desktop, left click on refresh. That will do it. As for getting Explorer on desktop, go to C drive, click on Windows, go down until you find explorer, right click on it, a menue will appear, pick send to desktop (Shortcut),Left click. Hope this helps
