As it warms up here all the creepy things come out, like the spiders/scorpions/snakes/bees/ants/big fat flies and masquitos. Sucks that most of them either hurt when they bite you, are poisonous or both. What a crap hole of a country this is.
I've been in your neighboring country to the west...I know what it's like out there...I don't envy you...
That being said, stay strong and we're hoping for a safe return

Nothing like distance to destroy any semblance of a relationship.
As long as your head hits the pillow at night and your safe, it was a good day. You will be home soon enough and will put this chapter of your life behind you, save for the stories which would have you remember thse times being better than they were.
be well,
david

Meggie wrote:Well things have slowly gotten worse around here. My sergeant major is convinced that i am sleeping with my boss (I'm not) and has been on a couple month witch hunt to find proof of this. My boyfriend that swore that he adored me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, broke up with me via email and now has stopped contacting me whatsoever, and my boss (that i am not sleeping with, but that i do get along well with) is being moved to a new position leaving me to be a section of one person.. myself to do the job of 2. I do extra duties (guard duty, night shift, hey you duty) about a third of the time here, and to make matters worse, its starting to get hot.
Everyday that i am here these days, i regret making the decision to come here. My world as i know it has pretty much crumbled and its pretty hard to drag myself out of bed every morning. These days the gun fire outside and the mortars dont bother me nearly as much as they used to.
Other then that, things are going as well as they can i guess. I really miss you guys.
I have no idea who you are but I will certainly pray for your safe return home and your current situation.

Hang in there Meggie !
Not everyone is strong enough to leave home/everything, go to another country & endure what you have. Don't be down or hard on yourself because of events you can't control.
A BF who weasels out of a commitment you two shared, isn't man enough for you anyway.
Keep us updated and we pray for your/everyone's safe return.
