DivX pluggin

Anyone know where I can get this pluggin? I beleive that it's for real player and media player 7. I am trying to watch a .avi clip but it says I need the DivX plgguin...

Yes, you can get one from http://download.cnet.com/
search for DivX, you'll see these softwares. The one I downloaded yestoday was Global DiVX Player 1.8.0. It does not have subtitle which I want. I am going to try RadLight Player 3.0.21

Prey,

The codec you pointed out is the new opendivx codec. That codec is not backward compatible meaning the movies enconded in the old format won't play with this codec. There is very little out there that this codec will play, today.

You need to get the original DivX codec to play most of the stuff that's out there now.

This one is confusing to install. Follow Directions! After you install it once, you still need to run runme1st.exe or something like that to install it.
