It's only with ftw wtf ftw I see it do this..

I try to look at ftw wtf ftw's profile and this is what I see...

User name is deleted, check that thread and you'll she he has a new name now.

It was EvilAjax, using a new account to PM me while I was resetting his password, etc. Once he was able to access his old account, I deleted the "FTW... " one - we only allow one account per user.

I found it kind of awkward has he was still able to post while using that account.. and I saw jamie say something about nice avatar somewhere in a different thread and I just couldn't figure it out 'cause I didn't see an avatar or anything like that.. I just saw that bugger like in the picture.. o.O so yeah that's what I was mainly confused about.. I figured out that it was EvilAjax once YoS said to check the thread again.. but yeah.. still confused about it.. but I don't think it's something that I would need to know anyways.. nothing of importance i'm sure..

He made a new user name, had an AV, made a few posts with that name then later after philip fixed it the name was canned and so the AV is gone.

There should be no mystery here.

Once I delete the account, the avatar, user title, number of posts, etc. is gone with the entire user profile. So all posts by this user are set to "Posts n/a" and no avatar automatically, regardless of when he posted.
