Great movie, watched it last night, enjoyed every part of it, however i wish it were a bit longer and did more of the story. Overall the action was top notch, acting was good, audio was awesome, directing was amazing...

GO WATCH IT!

I think i mentioned it earlier but this movie gave me the same "holy crap" feeling i had the first time i watched the Matrix (first one!) there were so many    scenes!

It was pretty good, an art film of the highest degree. Sin City meets Braveheart.

Hoping for one hell of a two disk special edition dvd!

it would totally make my day if they announced it was unrated, with 30 minutes of added story. I can see them doing this, the whole movie felt like it was threatening to have more story than it showed. maybe they cut it out and went the "action" route instead of the epic route that the story deserves.

I haven't felt this way in quite a while about a movie, but i already want to see it again!

I watched it Friday and have to say that it was one of the best that I have seen in a long time--yes a longer movie would have been better, but still an excellent flick none-the-less

i really like the movie too. although, the blood effect was a bit over-used. it's like..yea...i get it...there's blood and you can see it in slow-mo. other than that, if you haven't seen it...GO! this is not a film to see on your "small" 3 foot plasma. heh.

There was a lot of blood in the movie...then again it is a "War" movie. I do not believe they put as much of a "gore" factore as they could have (e.g. head is chopped off there is no fountain of blood spewing out--just a clean cut).

I think I have to go and see it again just to see what I missed, and I never want to see a movie a second time in the theater! Awesome guy movie :thumb:

He said 30000 and the odds were 3:1 against the other army.
But wtf ..what Leonidas did with his 300 men is unbelievable.

it a good movie if all you like is pure violence

don't get me wrong i thought it was fun but as an ancient history buff i have a hard time enjoying movies such as these when inaccurate but I guess that the fault of Frank Miller not the movie itself.

Congrats on realizing it's a MOVIE based on a GRAPHIC NOVEL written by an author of FICTION.

For the most part, they can review films just fine. It's "movies" that they seem to have trouble with now and then.

And I just noticed this:
