I noticed that I cannot backup my registry using scanregw on the start/run column. Can anybody help me pls. It always prompts as "
Cannot find the file "scanregw" (or one of its components.Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."

What OS are you running? Win98? I dont beleive that that command is valid in win95

Just run Scanreg, WITHOUT the W at the end.

You are right, I am using WIN98SE. Can you help. Can I backup my registry by using just plain SCANREG? Pls help.

just run regedit & export the whole shabang as a .reg file!
