FF7 WEAPONs

Holy freakin mother of... !

I beat Ultimate WEAPON, but now I'm trying to beat Emerald and Ruby and getting no where lol

I think I need to go into teh Ancient Forset and then that brings me to all the caves where ya get the Quadra materia right? That would add some nice power.

Can't remember were to get the Shield materia or Knights of the Round.

If I recall correctly, the shield materia is in the creator near the end of the game, while KOTR is on Round Island, in the far north-east corner (you'll need a gold chocobo to reach it).

Perhaps I should've asked in the other thread, but is this your first play-through?

No I've played it through once and then picked it up here and there shortly after. Been a while since I've played it.

When I played through and beat it I gave up on the WEAPONs.

my first time through the game (on ps1) i wasn't used to RPG's and i ran through the story without taking the time to level up very much. Got to the end and couldn't beat it Sepheroth....

Now you got me wanting to pick it up again!

A million sounds about right, and unless you have a special materia against Emerald, you're also fighting a 20-minute time limit. As it was linked above, Gamefaqs can be a good source for tips if you're having trouble.

The Weapons in the series are typically the toughest enemies in the game, so any other battles are a piece of cake in comparison.

For Ruby, it helps if you kill off two members of your party before you go into battle, then use Phoenix Summon to raise them. This way they won't be perminantly sucked away by Ruby.

They're tough bastards though, ain't they?

Never thought of that!

Got Knights of the round mimic and quadra magic and beat Ruby, Now I do better against Emerald, and then it starts zapping my MP to nothing, So I use a turbo ether and before my next attacks it does its air tam attack and blasts my guys for 9999 HP damage.

I think that he does 1111 HP damage for each materia equipped or every magic materia for the each char (ex: cloud usin 6 materia gets 6666 HP damage, barret usin 2 materia gets 2222 HP damage from that air tam) its something like that

did you equip someone with the final attack + phoenix materia so that everyone comes back to left after that attack? what materia are you usin on who? and did u get everyone their limit so that you can do some of that in the beginning? (omnislash, catastrophe, etc)

Final attack anything doesnt matter cuz it drains my MP to nothing.

, sorry its taking me longer than expected, I didnt save the setup before the battle, so I have to recheck each battle to see how its effected and see if I can remember the setup

I will try again when I get home from work, cause its kinda bothering me now, since I cant beat or remember how I beat him atm

Kicked its ass!

Got tired with chocobos and went back for more.

Used knights of the round attached to MP absorb + w-wummon and then mimiced it and kept the 3rd guy healing people.

Finally!

good job, did you equip them with alot of materia or that didnt matter? Ill have to try that combo again, I think I beat it something like that. I think there is a glitch with the W-Item thing cause when I used 1 megaelixer and did it again by accident I noticed it uped the QTY by 1

Anywho, ima try your combo and see what happens

Ya i got rid of all the extra materia, helped alot on the air tam attack. all guys died at one point but I had barret equipped with final attack + pheonix so I was back in the game then. Killed off its 4 little lazers easy, they came out right before the knights of the round attack and after 1 turn of them shooting and another knights the lazers were gone.
