Firefox Limitation? Saving HTML to PDF

In Internet Explorer I have a little icon that I can click on to save a web page to a PDF file (short cut to creating a file in Adobe Professional 7).

How do I get the same kind of shortcut in Firefox. What I am doing is I am paying bills online and want to save a copy of the confirmation. I cannot feed a URL into Adobe 7 Professional because the webpage secure and is behind a login screen and all that.

Is there some kind of freeware that can create PDF files in Firefox that I can use instead? It seems ridiculous to me that I would pay for 1 thing that can generate a PDF file in IE and then a 2nd one for Firefox.

Don't know if there is a firefox extension to do that or not. You could always "view page source" & copy+paste into txt editor and saveas html, then open in IE.

You can print a PDF thru FireFox. That's what I do.

You need to do the File --> Print (as opposed to the print icon) and then choose "PDF" as your printer.

Hit ENTER and it'll prompt you for the file name, as usual.

Ah okay I'll try that. I'm just used to having the icon in the toolbar in IE.

Adobe Profession 7 update 7.0.8 mentions something about adding support for Firebox. I downloaded the update, unsure what changed (eg. no icon in the toolbar).

well, you could rt click the ff toolbar & choose "customize" and then add the Print button, instead of using file menu>print.
