Nope i dont, the only game what i'm gonna play is the new c&c.YARDofSTUF wrote:I think its a good card, gets good reviews.
Personally I'd save a few bucks and get the ATI 1950XTX cuz that looks to be the best of the best right now.
But then when I look at video cards I look at gaming performance, and you mentioned before that you don't really game.
Thanks

It's a great card bro, but if it were me, I'd wait for the new models from either nvidia or ati. the performance difference for you isn't going to be worth, imho, unless you're playing some insanely high resolutions..plus that card's not as fast as two 7900gtx cards in sli due to slightly slower clocks. then again, i'm biased as i'm the guy running a 7900GT at 700/1.8.
If you want to blow money, get it. If you want to get the best out there, take the ATi route right now or wait a couple of months for nvidia or ati's new line. also, if you're buying a card now, make sure it has HDCP support via the stupid little chip on board.
as for the 7900gtx, i'm not sure. i have a 7900gt that runs faster than a stock gtx (thx for my overclock) and most tech savvy people would do the same. you could try selling it on ebay to get closer to what you paid (60-70%, i'd bet). sorry i took so long to chime in, i was out w/ the wife yesterday as today is her birthday.

If your looking at buying from Ncix, then you may want to do a pricematch with directcanada.com as they have it for $662.90 without the hassle of the mail-in-rebate. HERE
They (directcanada.com) are also owned and operated by the same owners as ncix. The only difference being they operate solely out of their warehouse. No stores like ncix. Plus buy anything over $150 and shipping is free.
If you check, most, if not all the prices are cheaper there than ncix.
