What do you advise?

Is linksys only way to go for home use?

I prefer Linksys...their wrt54gx4 series (srx400)...even the smaller srx200 unit is quite good. Encourage to stay with the GX series...the older gs, gl, and plain g models...are rather old, outdated, lacking in the performance of todays models.

Also DLink..the 4300 model, they seem to have done a great job with that model.

Not a fan of Netgear.

Agree with cat, and also, Dlink has the 634M and 635DIR units.
