WRT54GS - Wireless-G Broadband Router password problem

I have a problem with the WRT54GS - Wireless-G Broadband Router. I can't get into the set up page. I tried going into the browser at 192.168.1.1 which is stated in the manual. Standard login is no name and password admin. Pretty basic - the login screen comes on, but won't let me in. I tried using the reset button - this usually resets the password to the factory default - no good either!!!

Any ideas??
