Linksys Wireless WRT54G Router Issues

This router shows that it has a good connection (35mpbs+) yet when I try to connect to the internet or game server it won't work suddenly.

It seems if I change the channel on the router that I have some luck and find one that works. I'm in a town of about 10,000 not metro New York, should I really have this many conflicts with other people.

As I flip through the channels on the router is there possibly something else being reset that is really making the router work. Maybe I am coming to the wrong conclusion that it is channel interference.

It's been a couple of days now, anyone experience similar issues or hear of a solution for this problem?

What security are you using?

I have a linksys router with a time-based filter that won't work on my computer that has a Reaktek RTL 8139 ethernet card in it. My other computer has a U.S. Robotics card in it and works as I want it to for internet access restrictions. Has anyone else seen this issue before?

I have the same problem. Turning off the router and turning it back on does the same thing as re-setting the channel. I think that it is a problem with the router.

I think we got the same problem, everything is set up and when you try internet it don't connect? Yea, i got a newtwork controller stilll didn't work.
