Take a look at something for me quick.
I made picture pages for a company I work for. Its a sports league company.
anyway, I am on 5mbps cable line. I changed the view from a ton of thumbnails to a filmstrip view. I just wanted some feedback on the loading times.
Please let me know your internet speed and aproximently how long it took the pages to load. I used Fireworks to compress the jpg's the best I could, so I dont think I can improve the picture sizes any.

NOTE: I am aware that the page gets messed up in Firefox for some reason, as I did not design the header for the pages I can't figure out why.

Thanks for the feedback guys, Im a full time student and was working at the state capitol, but I am trying to make a decent user friendly website to help promote this young buisness.
If you guys are interested in what this is all about there are some neat videos from news channels around the nation in the press/media page located at the top of the page.

I think I'm still on 5mb, not sure, maybe 7.
Pages load anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds, mostly around 3, when the whole page reloads.
When navigating the pictures using the arrows on either side of the strip, the frames change in less than a second.
When clicking a frame in the strip the enlarged picture below changes in about one second.
