yeah. I agree. Great movie and dude was on with the way he acted. I think both him and Witherspoon did all the singing themselves, No lip syncing.

They couldn't...they had to get singing lessons for months to prepare for the movie before filming.

Joaquin Phoenix should have won a Oscar for his role. I'm not a Reese Witherspoon fan. IMHO, she is overrated...

agreed, great movie...great actors... theonly thing i was kinda disappointed about was with the extras on the dvd, like the history of the two, they used Joaquin and Reeces pics... was really wanting to see Johnny and June...

I agree with all. Good movie and highly recommend. I also agree that the DVD extras were pretty weak. I guess they rushed the DVD out and didn't spend a lot of time adding to it.

The only thing to make that movie complete is if they could have had a scene where Cash was singing with Bob Dylan on "Girl from the North Country". That would have been killer.

he still does, looks the same as it did when he was a kid in the parent trap or whatever that movie was. I think his flaws are kinda what makes him attractive.

It seems to be less noticeable since he did the movie Gladiator..maybe makeup hid it more in this movie because it was hardly visible.
Stacy Keach and Cheech Marin both used their moustaches to hide theirs.

maybe they were trying to minimize it because hes supposed to be johnny cash. I would hope he wouldnt get it corrected with surgery, i think its part of his attractiveness. I dont like guys to look perfect, i like a little flaw here and there.

how about raging alcoholism and a penchant for treating women poorly, accompanied by considerable sexual prowess?
