3 computers 1 printer
I'm trying to figure out how to have 3 computers that are connected via a linsky router all be able to print to the same printer. I've tryed to get them to work but the best I can get is that the computer connected to the printer will print and the other computers on the network can see the printer I'm trying to share but will not print to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Or open the printer folder and right click on it. Select sharing and tell it to allow sharing the printer.
Then on the other computers open the printer folder on them and select add new printer. Then select a network printer, it should then install whatever files you need.
Tks

All computers are running XP and the internet works on all of them just fine. the computer that has the printer attached has the the printer set to share. In the printer folder it gives me 2 option lexmark125 and auto lexmark125. If i set the first one to share then i can only get that computer to print if i tell it to use auto lexmark125. On the other computers I click add printer>network printer>browse for printer> then it says shared printers: Microsoft Windows Network. below that it lists the computer with the avalible printers i click next it sets them up and will either freeze when I try to print or it will do nothing. Sometimes it gives me an error saying something spooling subapp error. I think that spooler error is irrelevent to the problem though.
