AVG and Avast are free

Dont forget to try cleaning with adaware or spybot too.

Kaspersky Webscan

Trendmicro Housecall

Panda Activescan

Symantec Security Check

BitDefender Online

McAfee FreeScan

Command On Demand

F-Secure Online

Arcabit Online

If you have a single file that you are suspicious about I would recommend uploading to Virus Total, it uses multiple different antivirus programs and gives you results in seconds.

I dunno, I'd lean towards AVG for ease of use.
