I have alrready read the faq for router but i still cannot go online with router{but work when only modem}
my situation is that i have two coms connected to the router, and I can get them connected,i.e, i can access the other from either. but i just canot go online. plz help.thxxx.

What is the model number of your router?
Who's your internet service provider?
DSL or Cable?
Those information will give us a clue on how to get the router working.

Depending on what ISP you have, i.e. comcast for example, you may have to clone the Mac address of the computer you used to activate your service.

cant go online with wireless router
I have a similar problem here. Using Verizon DSL, I cannot access the internet by-way of my new Netgear wireless router (mr814). Followed all instructions connecting it to my computer and Speedtouch moden, but when I do I cannot go online. I just wanted to connect another computer that I have in my home. Need help, thanks.
