Depends on what game your playing. Counter Strike has settings where you can adjust the FPS

I play Quake 3. I have the Voodoo 5500 with a 850 Athalon. My FPS reaches over 300 on some areas of some maps. On Quake it has the FPS capped at 90, so if you type: /com_maxfps 300

it will raise it to 300

P.S. The Celron will limit your FPS in Quake, not sure about the other games. Moniter size also makes a difference.

o ya, fps is frames per second. basicly your frame rate is crappy if games look jittery, and its really crappy if the game looks like a slide show, if you wanna fix it, you gotta get a better graphix card (but that will only do so much), or buy a new comp, just dont get an nvidea riva they suck :) get a gforce 2 or three (preferably 3 :])
