Shame on Billy Zane and Gary Busey !!

Post by jeffe5150 »

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/02 ... index.html

ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) -- In the most expensive Turkish movie ever made, American soldiers in Iraq crash a wedding and pump a little boy full of lead in front of his mother.

They kill dozens of innocent people with random machine-gun fire, shoot the groom in the head, and drag those left alive to Abu Ghraib prison -- where a Jewish doctor cuts out their organs, which he sells to rich people in New York, London and Tel Aviv.

"Valley of the Wolves Iraq" -- set to open in Turkey on Friday -- feeds off the increasingly negative feelings many Turks harbor toward their longtime NATO allies: Americans.

The movie, which reportedly cost about $10 million (euro 8.3 million), is a work of fiction and does not purport to level allegations against American troops. It is part of a genre of popular culture in Turkey that demonizes the United States.

Shame on Billy Zane and Gary Busey for staring in this garbage.

I'll admit I do like violent entertainment, but we all have to keep that in mind.
It is only entertainment.

I just didn't think it was fair to jump on this particular movie when violent politically motivated movies have been around for years.

Some peoples are a bit too sensitive, and grossly overreact when the shoe is on 'thier' foot. We saw that with the latest uproar over a cartoon.
(They act as though they've never created cartoons/movies that could possibly infuriate the other side)

However you have to keep in mind that these people over there will have a FIT about this and more than likely people WILL die. Remember the fit people had over Michael Moores Anti Bush movie? People didn't like it, however civilized people don't KILL people over crap like this.

With all the crap that went on with that cartoon i would say its a matter of time before they start taking it out on we "infidels" for this....

Honestly, with what the troops have been caught doing over there it's no wonder a movie like this gets made.

In reality, aside from this "fictional" movie, innocent people are dieing by the thousands over there.

And, speaking of fits....

Someone, or someones, took a fit and sent a hundred and fifty thousand troops to Iraq and killed quite a few thousand innocent people.

That is real, not a movie.

Your right, it is just a movie, kinda like how the Danes scratch their heads and say, "it's just a cartoon!"

beyond that, it's not about the movie, it's about two Americans whoring themselves.

It took four months for the Danish cartoons to cause a uproar, wonder how long before this causes a stir?

As you continue to dance around and miss the point of the original post, the only two actors I mentioned are the American ones. I could care less for the meely mouthed sellouts who call Canada home, that have parts in that movie.

Does freedom of expression and speech only apply to Danish Newspapers, Movies produced in Hollywood and movies produced by Israeli Production companies , like True Lies(Which Starred Arnold Shwarzenegger), The Delta Force (Which starred Chuck Norris, Lee Marvin, Martin Balsam)?
Since 1985, Norris has consistently vilified Arabs and Muslims in his films, including “Invasion USA” (1985), “Firewalker” (1986), “Delta Force” (1986), “Delta Force 2" (1990), and “The Hitman” (1991). These films were produced by the notorious Canon Films run by the Israeli producers Menachem Golan and Yoram Globus, who pioneered the stereotype of the Arab terrorist villain in action films.
Other anti-arab movies have been :“Black Sunday” (1977), “Invasion USA” (1985), “To Live and Die in LA” (1986), “Wanted: Dead or Alive” (1986), “Terror in Beverly Hills” (1986), “Terror Squad” (1987), “Executive Decision” (1996), “Path to Paradise” (1997) and “The Siege” (1998).

And the Arabs/terrorist/islamic nazis that sold out to hollywood can be freely chastized by the people of the country they live in. again, the movie isn't in question, it's the americans that call the U.S. home playing a part in a movie that can inflame a people that go nutz over a cartoon.

twist and turn it Norm/Dan/Pieman anyway you want. but it's not about the movie, it's about the Americans playing roles in said movie for a people who are obviously inmature and cannot handle even cartoons.
