BF1942: Battle of Britain Server 24/7

Post by thechemgeek »

Just thought I'd share where I (Binap) and sometimes Little_Girl tend to hang out lately:

=TAW= Battle of Britain 24/7 70.84.74.134:14568

The =TAW= guys run a pretty good server and if you're into flying the old planes it can be fun. See ya around.

LOL last time i had bf42 installed i played that Server non-stop. Great map, very fun.

Wish the flying in bf2 was as good as 1942!

I was reading that the next BF might be BF42-2......anyone else hear that? Would be bad arse! :D

You guys have preferred sides?

I like going AA as engie on the Brit side, man one of the AAs on either side of the bridge, sniper if on the German side...to piss off the AA guys by the factory in several hiding spots I have.

the next BF would be another WW2 game? thatd be pointless in my opinion. they should do something really futuristic. I dont like arcady WW2 games, thats why i enjoyed the forgotten hope mod for bf42 much more than the original game. and im really looking forward to the new FH2 on the BF2 engine :D .

no. the next BF game is Battlefield 2142. So yes, you'll get your futuristic warfare very soon.

ehh yeah they are going to work on this non stop and keep us people with BF2 playing with screwed up patches and so forth.. I think they need to fix a game before making another.

BTW, this server still rocks!

Just finished a 4 hour binge session on Battle of Britain.. I think I gained a level up in my dive bombing skills while I was in there. :p

It's been so long, I forgot how addicted I was to BF at one time.. My wife starts yelling from the other room as soon as she hears the classic BF anthem while the maps are loading. :rotfl: She just loves it. :D
