You must be new to black friday...

what do you think your odds are that you'll be able to get even 20% of that list?

certainly be able to get the DVD's, but I doubt you'll be able to get anything else.

My 4rd black friday.

I allways wait in line and wake up around 3-4Am,

I live in a small town, not many stores have any crowds, having a younger brother/Gf with you is a plus

Yeah, there's like one or two door buster sale items(which I can never get) and the rest are meh. Still waiting on the Fry's ad but last year wasn't that good either.

Same here...or at least going out and doing something else besides taking 3plus hours to play bumper car in some overloaded mall parking lot...then feeling like a salmon during mating runs up the river packed like sardines...to wait in long lines. Ugh! Couldn't pay me to do it...

It all looks tempting, but I just can't get into the rat race. The things I am interested in will be there when all this is done.

I cannot stand the $99 blowout price after $25 instant savings and $49 mail-in rebate but before 24 year AOL contract and 2 year subscription to Napster. Must send original UPC to 4 locations before midnight yesterday.

Just give me the fricken' rock bottom buy it now price :rtfm:

I agree with BigMo...everything is after rebate, you've got the crowds to deal with, etc. :irate: plus in a few months all these items will probably be on clearance sale anyway... :D

I've worked Black fridays for almost 4 years now.. Im out of retail now so Im not gonna go shopping for this one..

some deals are great.. but after rebate is crap.. sometimes you'll get a great item without any problems but I've seen tomany of these doorbuster deals just fall through and die...

Good luck to anyone out there.. I got the day off from work while working today.. so im gonna be passed out and waiting for the before christmas sales that are commonly better deals on better product.

Ive had several companies not follow through with their mail-in rebates (*cough*RADIO SHACK*cough*) and what sucks is there isnt really anything you can do about it. I'm not waiting 2 months to get my money back anymore, half the time I forget I even had a rebate then im like whuh? when it comes.

Staples: Bought 100 Dvd-R's / 512MB PNY memory stick
Wallmart: SOLD out of laptops :(
Target: got the printer

It was amazing at 12:00 at compusa, the bestbuy is right next door and people were camping out... they had sleeping bags and small heaters. I guess they are going to buy a plasma tv?

So the wife calls me this morning from Best Buy, Staples and Circuit City...

Is this a good buy? ....Open up Froogle...search...

It's been pretty much universal that the items she's been looking at, I can find cheaper on the net......and I don't have to venture into this inversion, nor do I have to fight the crowds.

Next year, I think I'll have her write down what she's interested in and she can Froogle them.

my sister was going to try to get a laptop for like 200 bucks at circuit city this morning.. my guess is she either went back to sleep at 4am when her alarm went off or that they were sold out when she got there..

I dont normally go shopping today regardless of what the sales are.. the malls here are just too damn packed.
