I'm working on finding a realiable dedicated dsl provider here. Currently my apt. building shares a single backbone to 2 Cisco 24-port switches with inturns causes bandwidth issues on my end while gaming as proven in Desert Combat. Hence why I need a dedicated service. The time zone factor isn't an issue either. I just haven't had the time nor is BF2 available locally here in Kuwait. I know I could order it on-line and have it shipped.
So where is????

I can order BF2 direct from Amazon or Best Buy but I don't see the point in all honesty from the in game reviews posted here from the players themselves. Thanks for the offer tho.ScottE wrote:You find a good internet connection I'll find you BF2. Deal?
The connection part really isn't an issue but I want to validate spending $150/mo for a dedicated DSL service just to game when you all say it pretty much sucks.
Currently I'm pulling 100/down 300/up. The problem is Hong Kong when I trace route. Always has been the issue since being out here.

Same here! It's getting better and better with each patch! EA is at fault for releasing games before they should be released..but if you remember BF42, it was the exact same thing we are going through with BF2. After the first few patches, it was almost perfect!
I thing I wish EA would change is the mines (again) They seem to vanish before your eye's in a matter of a minute after you lay them down, LOL. And keep a different icon for mines and c4...maybe then your dumbass teammates wont run over mines thinking it's c4, LOL. I've lost SO many points from teammates it isn't funny. Oh well, just a game and im having a great time playing it!

Let the British take back Hong Kong and you probably won't see any issues.
Actually I've always liked the game save for some issues.
Respect it.
