I have Charter@home in DFW, Tx. and I love it. I swear I must be the only one on the node as my speeds are awesome compared to some people here. I normally get >300KBps on a good server. Even got a 50mb in 3 minutes. But the isp is also @home. I don't use them for anything really so it's hard to say.

You would be better off getting some input from users in your area. Customer satisifaction varies from place to place.
I too live in Ft Worth Tx. and I am quite happy with my service. Its only been down for more than 10 minutes (knock on wood) once when someone hit a pole and knocked out the whole town.

I'm using charter in Tn and it pretty much blows chunks.

6-12pm every day about 10k a second d/l or worse from virtually any remote site.

and good luck if you play q3/etc. pings are usually in the 100-300 range with packet loss running right around 30-40 percent until well after midnight most evenings here.

If it's any more help for example I'm downloading the latest intellipoint software from Ms at 3.37k per second. *sigh*

Sadly there is no other high, and I use the term lightly, speed option to choose from here.
