Windows 2000 server Routing

Post by jdeyo »

Has anybody used Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server's Routing service on a separate computer for a router? How would the REG hack for high speed internet work for a machine with two NICS?

I have used the the win2k server with two nic's the tweaks worked ok not blazing but did help.
I found that I needed more physical memory to work it.
I did start working with some other tweak settings that worked real well.
But because of the nature of this time of the year I had to pull that harddrive and put back in the win98 as the server for a short time why don't you email me and I'll look up the notes I have on it and send them
In the mean time look at this thread
under the entries from syntax...
