But I notice that everytime Bush screws up , the Neo-Cons that support Bush all start crying about people stating their issues and try to make it out to be whining and crying. They think alike so they believe everyone else should and just sit back and accept whats happening around them because thats how they would like it to be and are working hard at doing so. They always blame the poor people, the immigrants, the tree huggers, the liberals, and the media for the woes of this country and those of the candidate they support. They try to claim that things that everyone else can see are merely inventions of the mind, or conspiracy theories.
Imagine if they had their way and just shut us up what kind of country we would be in folks. Even more of a reason to open your mouths and be heard.
The mindset of some is "Its not a problem of the politicians, but the people with their hands out that dont have any callouses" Is exactly the attitude thats been happening to those people down in New Orleans, our fellow Americans, who just because they are poor, had to endure waiting days before recieving help. They are poor, and part of the problem, so, screwem and you people that want to see them get help, screw you too and shut up about it. They chose to be poor, they chose not to have money so they could leave and thats why they are in the predicament they are in and they can wait till we are good and ready to help them. I guess because they are already Americans and living in a democraticly free world, that there is no reason to expend effort into saving them, we are too busy saving NON-Democratically free Countries that are shooting at their own rescuers and liberators....lets send THEM the 25Billion instead

Thank God there are only like 2 more years of this guy to endure. After he goes, I wanna see whos crying , pouting, stamping their feet, inventing reasons for impeachment and whining.

Didn't Bush call up Clinton and ask him to help lead the disaster recovery efforts? I thought I heard that somewhere but I could be wrong.

You along with the majority of the country. I think his Job ratings are probably at its lowest right now. Last I checked was 52% were dissatisfied with him.

You're all blaming the puppet when you should be blaming the puppet master.

As far as my choice for Pres, it would of had to be Mr Dean. I believe he had compassion like Clinton.

The part I am still having the most difficulty accepting is the length of time it has taken before accepting outside help. Granted as was stated in other threads..protocol and red tape. How long does it take by phone or wire to say...ok we recognize you and the forces you are offering..we shall be looking for you...thank you. And I do not mean a random number of ships. tropps, etc. but a predisclosed and approved amount of each and every..and from where...all above board and expected. :(

I don't see why not. I thought he was only disbarred from Supreme Court cases and not lower court?

whats being a lawyer gotta do with being president??? not every president in our history understood law.. most were Ex-Military...
I think Clinton was a good pres.. if he ran, he might get my vote.. all depends on who he ran against.. (unfortunatly Clinton would have a problem as it was shown that his administration dropped the ball on the Intel for 9/11. If i recall right, They reported it but didn't stress it enough to make it clear and have the Bush admin follow up on it properly..)

when this is all said and done.. I bet they are gonna find some info saying Bush dropped the ball, blocked aid, and took too long to ask for help.. if so.. boot him out of office..

No more of the Bush Family i office.. Sorry but ever since they got into office.. there has been issues..

I guess he means that having a black mark against him would keep him from running possibly, not the fact of being a lawyer in itself. Hell, I'd rather have a disbarred lawyer then a draft-dodger any day.
As for the Bush family...I agree.

He is perfect...according to Haliburton, Enron and many other corporations he's helped make a fortune for. He slides right in without any lube.

I most certainly agree here. I know we have National Security problems, but this country needs to wake up and realize how to take care of their own people, even if it means admiting the mighty giant needs help!
