Replaced my NIC card... Now what?!?

Replaced my NIC card... Now what?!?

OK, I got Cox@Home to replace my DLink w/a Farallon NIC. No idea if it will solve my intermittant connections but I don't have anything connected to the PC that was originally installed by them a couple of months ago.
Do I need to uninstall my patches/reset the registry since I changed NIC cards? It is working now but speedtest's just a little slower than it used to...
