It just stopped working!!!!???

hi people, a newbie here, so hows it going?

ive been using a wireless moedem for a while, from a new irish company, and all of a sudden it just stopped. ive since

-re-installed the drivers
-sent away for a new modem/cables
-all sorts of ipconfig stuff, like dumps, releases, renews etc..

im at my wits end because i cant figure it out, and the tech people on the fones are useless. i wouldnt mind be able to sort this out myself.

any ideas on how to pinpoint the problem?? there is a connection there, but just no packets sent or received.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the make and model of the wireless modem? I take it you are connecting via a wireless signal?

Do you have a router? What OS are you running and did you set up networking on it?

How do you do authentication? (User/password...don't post them...just tell us the method it expects.)

Any power surges on that wireless modem? (Like a lightning strike...)
