2 Life Threatening subjects our government should be burdened with at this moment. Can't they come up with something important?
Warning Labels On Soda?
(CBS) Soft drinks that are packed with sugar could get warning labels just like cigarettes and alcohol if an advocacy group gets its way.
This is no joke, Michael Jacobson, director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), tells The Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith.
"Absolutely serious," he says. "Americans are drowning in soda pop - teenagers, in particular. The average teenage boy is consuming two cans of soda pop a day. The industry spends over $500 million each year promoting the sale of these worthless products. The U.S. government's dietary guidelines for Americans have urged people to consume less sweetened beverages. But the government doesn't do anything."

Sen. Clinton seeks 'Grand Theft' sex scene probe
By Peter Kaplan
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sen. Hillary Clinton pressed on Thursday for a government investigation into how simulated sex cropped up in a modified version of the blockbuster criminal adventure video game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
Clinton asked the U.S. Federal Trade Commission to investigate the origins of a downloadable modification that allows simulated sex in the personal computer version of one of the most popular and controversial video games in history.
"We should all be deeply disturbed that a game which now permits the simulation of lewd sexual acts in an interactive format with highly realistic graphics has fallen into the hands of young people across the country," Clinton wrote in a letter to the head of the Federal Trade Commission.
Saying the problem of explicit video games was "spiraling out of control," Clinton also said she was introducing legislation that would crack down on the sale of violent and sex-laden games to minors.
The legislation would impose a $5,000 penalty on retailers who sell adult-rated video games to underage children.

Hey, If Me & My Buddies Were Making Billions of Dollars I'd Tell Ya What Ya Wanted To Hear Too!
I think they should be promoting these things. Soda can's can be recycled, therefore, helping the enviroment; and GFA video games are teaching our kids sex education. If they should change anything about that game, I'd make it so the dude has to go buy a condom in order to have sex. That way it preaches safe sex
In the US, it is rated M (for Mature), which is 17+. An AO (Adults Only) rating is 18+.
The outrage over this is most amusing to me, especially when people take the stance of: "Well, I knew about the language, drugs, sexual innuendo, cop killing, bloody violence and overall gangbang atmosphere of this when I bought it for my eleven-year-old child, but poorly animated soft-core porn?! Not in my house!"
