Whose having speed problems with @Home?

General discussion related to Cable Modems, DSL, Wireless, Fiber, Mobile Networks, Wireless ISPs, Satellite, or any other type of high-speed Internet connection, general issues and questions here. Review and discuss ISPs as well (AT&T / SBC, BellSouth, Bright House, CableOne, Charter, Comcast, Covad, Cox, Cablevision / Optimum Online, TMobile, Verizon FIOS, Shaw, Telus, Starlink, etc.)

Whose having speed problems with @Home?

I've been experiencing speed problems with @Home for the past few months. I can still remember when pings were great and downloads were lightning fast *sigh*. It seems to me that there are a lot of us @Home users with sudden performance issues so I'm starting this poll.

Just post where you live, your cable provider, and how long you've been having problems. If there are enough of us maybe we could send a petition to @Home or something. I’ve been promised updated servers multiple times by the @Home guys but my speed still sucks.

I don't think the poll is going to do u any good unless every1 has the same cable co that u do. They (the cable comps) may all be a part of @home, but each one runs their service differently and I doubt ur cable co cares if AT@T or Comcast, etc. has pissed off customers.
