America's Army

Do any of you play americas army? If so, any tips to increase pc performance?
I have alot of problems with lag and Iv'e closed as many programs running in the background as I can (I THINK). I have 3 pcs on a linksys wrg54ts router.
The pc i use is a compaq presario notebook 3015, 2.4,80gig hd,512mb of ram.
Yeoldstonecat gave me advice a couple days ago which I appreciate greatly, and it did help some. If there isn't much I can do thats cool to. Just thought I'd ask.

What are the specs on your video? Is it onboard the mainboard or is it a separate card within? AA recommends 128MB video.

I know the card is seperate, not sure how many mb it uses though. It's a sis m650, and I have recently updated the drivers too.

Your video is onboard which uses your system ram for your video. Ideally, you want a separate video card that comes with it's own ram. Your probably experiencing video lag.

I looked into it last night and thought this pc had a video slot. You are right though, its very laggy I guess I'll have to eventually get a new pc. If I was to purchase a new one what would be a good choice in a notebook?
