has anyone heard of Teledesic?

Review and discuss ISPs as well (AT&T / SBC, BellSouth, Bright House, CableOne, Charter, Comcast, Covad, Cox, Cablevision / Optimum Online, TMobile, Verizon FIOS, Shaw, Telus, Starlink, etc.)

Doesn't exist. Unlikely that it ever will be built.

Actually, the speed quoted are wrong. the correct speed is 3.14159 Terabits - in other words, just a lot of pie in the sky.

Seriously, this one ain't gonna happen.

never said it existed, just that I saw this thing on TLC about this and the satellites that they want to put up there.
It probably won't happen. I don't think there is enough room in space (orbit) for the number of satellites they want to employ.
