I went to a test site and the results were:
Your download speed : 840075 bps, or 840 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 102.5 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 121396 bps, or 121 kbps
I dont download at 102 and I dont upload at kbps..My speeds are terrible. I tried the speed patch on Cablenut.com but it didnt work. Could someone please give a post with all the patches and tweaks that have been known to improve you internet d/u. I'm very pissed off seeing fellow @homers downloading 3x as fast as me and 5x uploading than me. I appreciate any help at all. I can give something In return for anyons help.
What are your actaul speeds then and what are your caps?
Don't expect to get the same performance as other @Homers. Performance varies from cable affiliate to cable affiliate and area to area.

When I asked for actual speeds, I was referring to every day download/upload performance, not web-based speed test performance. Try downloading from fast sites, such as microsoft.com, download.com, etc. As for caps, you need to contact your provider.
3 threads out here 2 in tweaking, he does not need patch, look at what he had when he got here and what he has now, I know what he needs and you can't download it!!!!!!
