I just got it with that true downloader thing and it worked Mark. My first try from that link was corrupt as well.

Why does it say I should let the installer update my nividia drivers when I have the newest one on nividias website?

so far im liking it, hitting about 60fps on my setup in single player with 1024@72hz med detail all around. I kicked it up to HIGH all around for the fun of it and hit 4-7fps :rotfl:

I like it so far. The weapons seem nice, sounds great. The new sprint key is pretty kewl, one thign i like is you don't damn near die when you fall short distances, you lose some life but not much. THe shock feature is pretty kewl as well, a tank almost hit me and it kicked over to that Saving Private Ryan type blurry view.

Its going to take some getting used to tho. I can't figure out how to call for more ammo (kinda sucks when you are a sniper) havn't tried the commander thing. Squad based is pretty wild, moving spawn points. All in all i think this game will have a lot of potential if EA doesn't kill it with piss poor patches that take WAY to long to come out.

The AI is pretty good too, i had a medic come help me out when my life was low! Didn't even call for him. :thumb:

Is there a way to see a target crosshair in the view when your looking at the back of the plane?

I do not see a key to use to jump out of a plane. My enter key does not seem to do the trick.

i picked up a handful of FPS when i kicked over to the multiplayer. Guess the lack of AI frees up a bit in this one! :thumb:

Currently im defragging my HDD's tryign to grab a few more frames. Doubt it will help much tho, the demo isn't really TOO big... :)

Oh yah that ESSEX on the Carrier is WICKED!!

Almost there.

Try doing what Mark suggested with the info he got from [H] forums. I got it at 360KBs.

On my first try it was corrupt. Takes about 25 minutes.
