This question is for anybody who tried this tweak... It's the win98 tweak from cablenut... Does the tweak work for WinME also, or is it just for win98 only... and I didn't see only tiny bit difference regarding the speed.... Did anyone else tired it... If U did, was is worth it or should I just uninstall the tweak...

Yes it works for some, at the top of his web page it says WIN 98/98SE/ME plus it has 2 settings depending on your sys, normal cable and fast cable for those with bigger CPU's. This uses a high RWIN, so if one does not work try other, you do not have to uninstall, just bring up installer again and select what you like, then reboot.

It also says besides Win98/98SE/ME add win95 win2k, win2k server, DSL/cable/dialup

... I meant the win98 tweak.. not the cablunut broadband speed prog... the win98 tweak which increases the performance of the OS.. I have WinME...p3733, 128 megs, 20Gig, 32meg Video, Sound blaster live value .. not sure if this is going to help...

Yes it will work in ME the difference is that you can't just open the system.ini file by typing sysedit from the run command box.
You'll have to type the filenames seperate from there.
Example::
Hit start then run
type system.ini then "enter"
This will open that file
Next time I'll read the question closer
