I have noticed several times people on this site saying netdiag is illegal to use, that is not true. This is of the help sec. on at home.Test your connection with NetDiag
NetDiag is packaged with the @Home Network software. It allows either you or a Customer Service technician to test connectivity. Minimal connectivity is required for Customer Service to assist you using this tool. However, you can run it at any time. Two parts of NetDiag are relevant, here.
Using NetDiag, you can run a "Connectivity Test". To do this, click C:\@Home\Tools\NetDiag.exe and select Run from current location. Once the program is open, click Run Test. NetDiag tests each computer listed in the boxes.
Each successful test turns a button green. Each test that fails turns a button red.
If all of the boxes are red, you do not have a connection. If some boxes are red and others green, try waiting a few hours and run NetDiag again. If you are still not connected, contact Customer Support.
Half Lifer is totally correct, only the installer part is at issue. Unless you know the right name/password combo, you might as well not worry about it!
